“This is the second mantis I have..The first I received within 5 days of use the tire popped and the tachometer went berserk in calculating over 50k miles with only riding at most 15 miles...returned the scooter and received a new one and now the tachometer just resets randomly...very frustrating to spend this amount of money on a product that performs minimal expectations.”

“I love this thing. I had a OneWheel and loved it but felt it was very dangerous. I actually cruise on the mantis and dont feel like im going very fast. It feels much safer and it is so much fun.”

“This scooter is great. Its not a quick fold for transport but that is ok. I am sure that the stem is secure and wont fold down at 37mph over a bump. Wear protective gear and counter balance when braking. The brakes are outstanding! You don't need anything faster in NYC!!!”

“I bought the Mantis V2 for leisure riding and I have not been disappointed, I did not get it with commuting in mind so I got the 18.2Ah battery, when you have it in 2nd or 3rd gear it can drain the battery pretty fast, but the scooter runs great, excellent ride quality, excellent braking, the sinewave controllers are extremely smooth and quiet and the acceleration even in 1st gear is great, I haven't tested out the top speed but it gets well over 30+ mph with ease. As long as you aren't pushing the scooter too hard the 18.2Ah battery is good enough for your medium commutes, if you plan on using this strictly for commuting I would opt for the larger battery, but overall the scooter runs great.”
