just did my first 100miles on the scooter commuting to Manhattan eveyday for work and what can i say the machine works perfectly and has lots of power and the battery goes the distance. Brakes work great stops on a dime!. Would recommend to anyone that wants to go fast and needs something portable.

Had some minor issues when my new Mantis Pro arrived, but support was very responsive and helped me out quickly. Scooter is very sturdy, riding in NYC streets it is definitely smooth with this beast- Yes, the Mantis is a beast of a scooter. Please ensure you wear proper protection while riding these scooters. Definitely worth the wait. Fast charger is a must of you have can fit it into your budget. This is a great summer!

I put aprox. 1000 miles on my Mantis pro and the front motor free movement of front wheel has seized up to issue inside the motor hub. Finding another motor to order and replace mis proving difficult to locate. The company Fluid Free Ride from MIami Florida is not reponding by Phone and properly aknowledging my issue through email. So much for the warrantee of 180 days they offered. Its a great Scooter but very difficult to work on and dismatle and replacement parts difficult to find in USA. Parts on this scooter may be subquality and poorly fitted together when buying new.

I've had my scooter for 3 months now. I waited for a long time to review it, because I had some self-created service issues, and I wanted to get everything wrapped up. So I have hundreds of miles driving the Mantis (I'm on a new mini-motors speedometer, new mileage, lol).... I spent a substantial amount of time considering scooters and companies, with customer service being a priority, and I decided FFR & the Kaabo Mantis were definitely for me. And after purchasing, I am extremely happy that I chose them. /// First thing: read the Owner's Manual thoroughly. Make sure you read the part about the sensitivity of the brakes, and starting on 0 or 1 for EBS. Read the part about not getting too high on the scooter, especially if you have a high center of gravity. If you haven't guessed by now, I ended up with some damage to the scooter and FFR really helped me out. They have great communication, great customer service, and they really came through to resolve the issue. ... The Mantis is crazy. I never thought that I would have to tone this thing down, but if you don't have the open lanes of Florida or California, driving this thing through curvy, tight, hilly streets at 35+ can be a little scary at times. But when you're on straightaways, it is a blast to open up. I'm 6'3, 225, and I've hit 42 mph before. 37-39 is pretty typical for max speed. But for the most part, 30 is a great speed to drive it when unconstrained, and 25 is plenty of fun too. Even eco at 20 MPH is a good cruising speed on curvy bike paths. ... It's been said in many reviews, but this scooter requires a lot of responsibility. I am an aggressive car driver, but I've learned some caution driving the Mantis - things like being careful around people with kids and pets, especially in neighborhoods. It's very, very easy to get flying and suddenly be moving too fast into the wrong area. And stopping times from high speeds - be aware of cars/trucks pulling out. ... Any negatives? I would have liked a tire that was a bit tougher, but I guess this one for smooth roads makes sense. I might change those out. The scooter though is a 10/10, and the customer service matches. One of my best purchases. ... Side note: I wear glasses, and there's a little rear-view mirror that fits on the eyeglasses-arm, bike peddler, which you can buy on amazon. Does the trick.

Adam @ Fluid treated me in such a fantastic manner that i actually canceled my scooter purchase that i already had made with another company and brought my business to Fluid!! He answered all my questions for 3 days straight (yes, 3 days) and went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me out. I mean unreal customer service without any pressure of buying. The reviews on Fluids customer service and warranty is what made me contact them and Im happy that i did, and you'd be too so I strongly recommend FluidFreeRide. As for the Mantis... This is the real deal. The quality of this machine is heavy duty! Its costly but you get what you pay for and in NY, the roads aren't too kind so the Mantis is just what i need. Enough height from the ground to board to avoid scrapes from pot holes and uneven grounds. Stability and balance are fantastic! Suspension is like on a cloud. Brakes are on point! A real attention grabber with a awesome matte black paint job. Wide board to stand on with plenty of foot positions while not being squeezed. Programable ability is far more then i expected.....look it up on their youtube channel. And lastly the POWER!!! WoW, makes your stomach drop and smile at the same time. The fact that you can turn on/off a motor is a great touch while traveling long distances. My advice is that you make sure you start off with 1 motor and eco just to learn the scooter and its abilities if you've never used a scooter this powerful. Oh and the Side lights will ensure you're seen in the dark from FAR...lol. The only things i can say that id like to have had/different.... I'm 5'9.....so its a little tall for me, so i rotated the handle bars downwards since the shape of the handlebars is not straight and that helped a lot. Regular handlebars are strongest but i'd love some strong foldable handlebars cause thats a huge help around the house and putting into the trunk. A little heavy (65lbs for the pro) but for good reason. Has some small front lights but is in need of a real headlight that should be there cause of the level of the scooter and price. Still.....easy 5 outta 5 stars!

This is my third scooter. I have the Mercane Wide wheel and the Segway Max. I purchased the Mantis Pro because I wanted more speed and range. Okay, first I want to point out that FFR got an amazing delivery service! The Mantis arrived at my house in less than 4 days. Also, let me tell you, this scooter got a lot of torque. You will want to dial down the power until you get use to riding this scooter (P7 &P9 Setting). the scooter will want to launch you forwarded. It is because the spring is kind of soft, so it is bouncy for a heavy person (260lb). I wished you could adjust the springs like the zero 10x (Turbo Wheel). The front and rear wheel comes off easy, so it makes repairing flats a breeze. There is also no seat for the Mantis because the handlebar seats high. The pro version got a big battery, so you should consider purchasing a quick charger. There is no bell or lights, so you must purchase them separately. The stem has a little give, but you can purchase parts on the internet that will make it stiff. So would i still recommend the Mantis Pro? hell yeah!

Keep in mind gravity doesn't like 10" tires and they take a ton of abuse for the speed a Mantis has to offer.
