MANTIS PRO V2 - fluid Edition Mantis Pro V2 Reviews

4.8 Rating 131 Reviews
Power, performance and range were all better than expected. This thing is a blast to ride! Certainly needs to be treated with respect. No different than a motorcycle. Tires and tire pressure need to be checked every ride. Bolts and screws DO come loose on this machine. Thread locker and a little time fixes this issue, just make sure it gets done. This machine should never be ridden without both hands on the grips. Itchy nose? Pull over and stop first! Hard rule! It really is a dream machine that is addictive to ride! You will love it! Thanks for a wonderful experience, FluidFreeRides!

I purchased a Wide Wheel 1st. It was plenty fast but I didn't like the way it handled. I sold it and purchased a Mantis. I have no regrets. It is really fast and it handles really well. I have the Mantis Pro and I can get between 30 and 40 miles per charge depending on how I ride it. I run Turbo-Dual most of the time but I usually keep my speed under 25 mph. I have had it for about two and half weeks and I already have 325 miles on it.

These guys refunded my widewheel pro for the mantis pro (I paid the difference). Awesome costumer service but they may take a couple days to get back to you. The mantis is an incredible machine, power and acceleration are insane and not for new riders, though you can scale these both back to make the scooter more adaptable for a beginner. Thanks fluidfreeride!

I received my MantisPro 3 weeks ago. Since then I put about 200 miles on it just cruising around learning about how it handles and having a lot of fun the entire time. I am extremely impressed with this scooter. I live in North Jersey and this scooter can tackle any of the large hills in my neighborhood with ease. Here is a video I put together about it on my Youtube Channel: https://youtu.be/dcQwpJJKH2s

I rode a Ninebot ES4 for 2 years, but I craved more power. NYC has some rough roads and the Ninebot started to fall apart so I switched to a Mantis Pro. I have been really happy with the choice. there is no better way around NYC... Fluid Freeride has also been very helpful with setup and making sure that I have had all my questions answered. I couldn't find a better scooter in my search for power and speed while still being able to pick it up.

I've ridden two electric scooters in my life. A Segway ninebot es4 and the Mantis Pro. The Segway was great for very light commuting but was easy to lift and carry. Comparing these two is comparing a BMX bike to a motorcycle. The mantis is super well built, smooth, and off the line very powerful. It's not scary though. I can ride it at its top speed of around 40mph and it's stable and feels secure. The issues with riding it in traffic are that you don't have turn signals, a visible brake light or tail light for cars, or a mirror. I've also found that in this area, people don't understand what you're riding so they will not yield to you when they should. The scooter is fantastic though. I've put 170miles on it in less than two weeks. Get the fast charger though. It's worth the money.
