“I've had my Mantis Pro for over a year. I don't usually write reviews but this machine deserves another good review. My riding is primarily city and paved trail with occasional dirt, gravel, and grass. I'm 180b LB and 6' tall. My riding style is semi-aggressive and I often hit the top speed of 40 MPH. Acceleration and braking power are both excellent and strong enough to throw you off the back or over the handlebars if not managed correctly. The power to weight ratio defies logic and intuition. Suspension is solid and adjustable. Having a motor on each wheel enables effective off-road riding. I'm a technically minded individual who pays attention to fit and finish. It's simply very well designed and built. Part of what I like about electric is the silent torque it offers. This means the rest of the scooter needs to be silent too. After a year of semi-abusive riding there are still no squeaks or rattles. I've seen little to no battery/range decline over the course of the year after about 100 charging cycles. This scooter is more than enough and I'm very happy with the purchase.”
“I would like to start with overall the product seems good. When I first received the product the deck lights did not light up there's also wheel wobble like the tires are on balanced the front brake which is hydraulic mind you had to be adjusted so I could use it safely. So after watching extensive YouTube videos I was able to locate the wire under the deck compartment where the battery is to fix a black wire that was just ripped or cut to make the lights work hopefully that will hold the tape job I did and as far as the front brake again YouTube videos thank you I was able to bleed the bubbles out of the line and now the brake works fine again the wheel wobble apparently is a known issue with the Mantis balanced Wheels and/or tires will be awesome. I have to say I do enjoy the way it rides it's very fast lots of control just wish the overall quality was just a little bit better thank you I hope to do more business with you in the future”

I waited a little over a year to write my review. I wanted to wait until I could give some tips on handling and minor maintenance.
The Kaabo Mantis Pro, is not for beginners. It can be used by intermediate riders, cautiously. This unit is a high performing unit with a top speed of 42mph that varies depending on the riders weight. The torque settings should be lowered to the lowest settings when using this unit for the first few months for intermediate riders.
I have years of experience and even I was taken back by its torque. Please follow fluidfree's instructional video on youtube. It is a great starters guide.
Do not use aftermarket fast chargers not approved by an authorized vendor like fluid free. Doing so, not only voids your warranty, but renders your LG Battery USELESS!
After your first 3 rides use locktite glue, to tighten your wheel nuts. You will be happy you did! Locktite glue is your best friend!
I had to upgrade my stem bolt, but new users will not have this challenge as fluid only sells the new and upgraded models at no extra cost.
In closing, this unit is loads of fun and if maintained properly and to the vendors specifications, will give you years of enjoyment. Kaabo designs the very best performing electric scooters, bar none!
My experience with fluid free for this purchase was flawless and made simple. They had all the necessary information I needed. They even have a list of approved repair shops that specialize in electric scooter repair, in almost every major city. What I like most about fluid is their willingness to help me with my unit months after my unit was sold to me.

“I purchased the Mantis Pro‚Äîadvanced all round, power & range‚Äî seven weeks ago. Unfortunately, my first order got lost/stolen while being shipped by FedEx. Luckily, I had insured the scooter with Route. Additionally, the Fluidfreeride staff were very helpful. Specifically, I communicated with Adam about the situation, and he was extremely supportive. Thanks again Adam! Now, back to the mantis pro. I only have great things to say about the scooter. I have put in 377 miles already in the mantis pro and not a single issue so far, riding in city traffic and on bike trails. The scooter feels extremely safe, has great acceleration, it's crazy fast (in dual and single mode, gear 3) and the range is what Fluidfreeride advertised‚Äî45 mile in single-eco mode, gear 3. Also, I've ridden the Mantis Pro using a combination of dual-single and eco mode, gear 3, and I have been able to get 37 miles range with 25% battery left. Overall, this machine will give you an amazing performance and safety. The mantis pro is highly recommended for folks commuting daily in heavy city traffic, while enjoying long rides on weekends.”
“The Mantis Pro is a fun scooter. The acceleration is quick, and the brakes are strong. Top speed with single motor is about 35MPH on the gauge. The brakes are initially grabby, but I'm getting used to it. I'm going to try turning off ABS. Torque with both motors is over the top. The deck is good sized, and the handlebar is well-placed for my height (6'). The deck lights are nice but are there to be seen, not to see. It needs turn signals. A smoother torque curve would be nice too. Overall very fun and the nexus of performance, features, and price. Highly recommend pads and full-faced helmet. Excellent service from FFR.”
“I love it. It is so fun an easy to ride. I live in Bremerton, WA and it handles the hills no problem. Highly recommend this scooter! This is my first scooter. I almost got a cheaper unit, but I knew I wouldn't be happy with it. I wanted something that had some torque for the area I live in. I'm a 200lbs adult and this puppy just glides.
Only one small con. The rear brake line was low on fluid when I unboxed it. I contacted Fluidfreeride.com and they quickly reviewed the problem and sent me out a kit to top off the brake. Very responsive and awesome customer support. They take care of their clients. :)”
