“I have had my Mantis Pro now for many months. I wanted to get many hours and miles (over 500 miles!) on it before providing my review. That's what really matters to me is not day 1 or even 7, satisfaction. First off, nothing at all has diminished with this scooter. The battery life, acceleration, top speed, build quality, and ride quality all remain exactly the same as the first day I rode. The suspension remains just as good too. This is important to note as I am a 230lbs rider. I love jumping off curbs too. I have 4 kids and they too have some scooters from Fluid Free Ride (and others I will not name). We love riding together as a family and have spent some really high quality time together. Also, to note my satisfaction with Fluid Free Ride... My first Mantis was faulty, after about 20 miles. So much so, it was certainly not field serviceable. It was super quick and super easy to convince Fluid Free Ride of this. They quickly got me a return shipping label via email. They also let me know that if I provided a photo of the FedEx drop off or pick up receipt, they would immediately ship me my replacement. They even allowed me to purchase the upgraded Pro version in this warrant exchange. Can't say enough about the scooter and the company. Thanks and happy riding folks!”
“I recently bought Kaabo Mantis Pro from FluidFreeRide and I absolutely love it. I stopped by their Miami location and was able to test out a few scooters. Horizon is good (actually great for the price), Mantis Base is almost perfect, and Mantis Pro is PERFECT! Insane acceleration, a lot of settings (to make it less of a beast for newbies), great suspension, very good ground clearance to jump off curbs, great quality LG battery, superb Minimotors controller and good hydraulic brakes. Fluidfreeride staff was very courteous and not pushy when I was struggling to decide between Mantis Base vs Mantis Pro (price difference is quite significant), and I stopped on a thought that I will regret not getting LG battery. Now I realize that LG battery was not the main perk I love compared to Base version, it is the MINIMOTORS controller - it is absolutely insane, much better response rate and quality than the generic controller on Base version (I rode similar scooters with the same generic controller and it is miles away from that Minimotors guy) Actually, Mantis Pro accelerates faster than several similarly priced Dualtron scooters my friends have, so I constantly tease them about throwing too much money on their scooters. I had a small hiccup with getting a wrong part from their customer service, but it was quickly rectified, so no problem there. I highly recommend Fluidfreeride and Kaabo Mantis Pro”

Ok onto the Mantis.
This scooter is phenomenal. I previously had a Wide Wheel Pro and whilst I don't want to put anyone off buying a WWPro, I have to say that for me, the Mantis Pro is perfect with its extra speed, distance and maneuverability. I have a 5 mile commute to work and back and it makes the journey exciting whereas it used to be boring. Chilly, but exciting. I give it a full charge every 3 days and it lasts the 10 miles each of the 3 days. And I like to cruise on weekends for up to 40 miles on a single charge.
A few things to consider.
This machine is fast if I need it to be or normal if I need it to be. It is very easy to control the power with my left and right thumbs, even with gloves on and even as I use the accelerator or brake. I barely have to glance down at the controls.
It is really stable. The wide handlebars and big tires give a feeling of security even at 40mph. Conversely at slow speeds it maneuvers easily, which is particularly useful where I work in a University.
The suspension and brakes are tremendous and really do the machine justice. I often plow over drain covers and road grit barely noticing them at high speed.
It is highly visible at night with its deck and rear lighting.
All in all I am 100% plus happy with everything. I'm doing my bit to be eco-friendly while saving tons of money on gas, insurance and maintenance on a car. This is way better than a car. If you buy this scooter, protect your investment with good security and protect yourself from road rash or worse with a full face motorcycle helmet and padded jacket and pants.
I stylized my Mantis with a handlebar extension that allows me to have a mirror, front light and phone mount (the front light also charges my phone; nice). I also added indicators which are sometimes a little tricky to use until you get used to them as it means a tap on the rubber end to indicate and another tap to stop indicating.
On the security side I have a disc lock shown and a 16mm U lock for the front. I also attached a remote controlled alarm to the front fork. This is brilliant; less than 30 bucks on Amazon. Attaches with adhesive backed tape and 2 zip-ties.”
