As a former schoolteacher who might move to Japan shortly, I don't exactly fit the mold of your typical GMB practitioner, but I am a full-on convert. I had several chronic conditions that were pretty painful, and they were starting to get me down. I just did the programming in Elements and both my plantar fascitis and tennis elbow got so much better. GMB teachers understand progressions and know how to design movements that make your body feel healthy and strong. Getting rid of sets and reps makes me so much happier too. I do quality work in not too much time and don't have to think about designing my own programming anymore. Last thing, real people answer your questions with thoughtful responses. I like it.

Consistency is key. Amazing how even 15 minutes of regular practice impacts daily movement patterns.

I got into this being in poor shape, and these excercises were not only an easy way to get back in shape, but got me able to do movements I didn't know I could do. You should try it. I recommend to everyone I know.

For practical reasons and time constraints I follow on line classes. I'm revisiting Elements. The movements are simple (in appearance at least), bring you to the ground and into your body. Despite the apparent simplicity actually doing them and doing them well is challenging and asks for considerable focus. Executing a movement calmly, concisely, with grace (ok working on that) brings and extraordinary satisfaction. Love the program and the gentle start (which can be revisited and learnt from again. And again).

Elements has been fantastic. I had limited success with Yoga, and stretching, but these functional movement patterns are unlocking strength and flexibility I though I had lost forever. 35 years of Martial Arts (Tae Kwon Do, Shotokan, Happkido, & Aikido) hammered on my hips, and I neglected the self care it took to maintain strength and to recover from martial practice. Combine that with a professional skiing career, and my hips had all but fused themselves into a narrow range of motion from use and abuse. A few minutes of elements 3-4 days a week has produced results way out of proportion with the time and work I have put into the program. These guys have it figured out, and the results are incremental but very real.

I really love their teaching style!! Great visuals and careful explanations make it a pleasure to use, especially for people like me who have not been as active in my adult life as I should have been. Walking is not enough. They always have an encouraging, upbeat outlook, both in the video and the emails they send. I think that's crucial for some of us who face illness or hindered mobility to stay pumped mentally & keep trying. Now with more consistency in my exercise habits, I'm excited to find myself getting stronger. Thanks so much GMB!!

I am so grateful for the Elements program. I am about 5 months post-op from ACL reconstruction and the program has helped me regain mobility and strength as well as reconnect with my love for movement. I appreciate how it invites me to meet myself where I am that day and to explore with a sense of curiosity, non-judgmental awareness, and PLAY! Although I've purchased other GMB programs, I have decided to continue to restart Elements and deepen the fundamental movements.
