“I am a long time GMB member and have followed many courses along. Resilience is a great program and whole hartedly recommend it to everyone who wants to improve weak and often neglected areas. The only reason I would only give 4 starts because compared to other programs, I felt, that the programming is a bit off. Usually good, but sometimes too difficult. But that can also be completely up to me as well, and my autoregulation. Nevertheless, I am using GMB on off days, and when I am following my gut, usually end up doing Resilience, Mobility or some form of Elements.”
“GMB Resilience has been a godsend for the weird in between times (which seem to be a thing lately). It's super helpful in doing something when everything else is sort of blown apart. As I approached menopause, and taking care of dying parents and planning/carrying out an international move, pretty much everything I knew about how my body responded to all sorts of different exercise and movement changed significantly, which put me in a bit of a tailspin. GMB Resilience was (and still is) a mainstay for doing something rather than nothing when full on training feels out of reach.”
“I've been using Resilience between days doing Elements. I really like the focus on different body parts in each session. For me it's providing a good rehab from past back surgeries helping me deal with residual pain and stiffness.”
“Resilience is a program that you’re supposed to use to supplement your current training. I use it on my rest days. The 30min option becomes a workout in itself and I find the moves a bit optimistic for the times. I.e. doing shoulder circles in plank for 7 minutes.
The ideas is to build up but if you try and endure the 7mins it’s a real challenge.
The 15min option seems more user friendly done as a warm up or a supplement to your training.
I find the moves a little funny, particularly the seal walk so it’s best done in privacy as it’s bound to raise some cheeks when done in public
It’s a great program for focusing in on specific parts of the body and building strength and endurance which is resilience.”
“Some of the exercises might seem a little unusual, but they are all based on movements we do in our daily lives. I don’t train these movements anywhere else, so Resilience is a good practice. Besides, when I don’t feel up to a full session of Integral Strengths, this is a good alternative.”
“Love the awkward movements and the exercises that improve endurance and range of motion. We use the 15 min practice as a warm up to our handstand workout every week. We can see our resilience improving with the practices. Thank you for the thoughts and design that went into the program.”
