“Whenever I need/want a lighter day, I dial up either Resiliance or Recovery. Or both, like I did today. Resiliance works. It's subtle, but noticeable: I can tell my wrists are getting stronger. Definitely listen to what your joints are saying to you as you try an exercise; they're the boss, not whatever Ryan is doing on the screen. But really try. I'm not likely ever to do the full Seal Walk, but I know I'm holding the basic early-point set-up position longer than the first time it was introduced. And ditto for every other exercise that comes back around in the cycle. (Just wish this blasted menopause-hormone-chaos belly would stop growing; it gets in the way!)”
“I am really impressed by how well I have progressed with even the small training effort that my health permits. I often stretch one session over several days, as my condition does not permit a 15-minute session most days. After several months, I can see (and feel) definite increases in my strength and the load capacity of my tendons.”
“Was not sure what to expect, but feeling very happy with the program so far. Some of the movements are rather challenging and will probably take quite some time to master, perhaps they are exactly the ones that I need the most. Simultaneously some movements are also a lot of fun :)”
“Resilience follows a simple but challenging format of approximately 3x1 min warm-ups, and 3x3 min primary exercises(I would not recommend trying to do the 30 minutes sessions--this will be brutal for some of the exercises!). The movements are more unique and challenging than what you would find in the Elements program, and better targeted as far as my specific needs go: while Elements and the other programs overemphasize "pushing" type movements and include extensive hip mobility work, Resilience includes "pull: work that improves my scapular function, as well as movements that provide a good stress stimulus to my ankles, shoulders, and knees. resilience.
Resilience is therefore my favorite GMB program, and I would recommend it for already athletic individuals who want a challenging program to improve their, uh, resilience.”
“Resilience is a great program for my stiff 69 y.o. body. Much of my issues are with my hips and upper back. Many times I’ll repeat sessions hoping to get a better feel for some of the movements.
I’ll persevere through the program and am willing to start and complete elements.
Thank you
Stephen C.”
“This is a deceptively effective program; although the exercises don’t seem like they would make that much difference, I’ve already noticed relief from shoulder and knee pain that’s been bugging me for years after just a few weeks of doing the 15-minute version twice a week. Highly recommend, and will be including these workouts in my rotation for the rest of my life. The only critique I have is that the web-based version of the videos is slightly inconvenient - I would love for there to be an app or to be able to cast the workouts to a larger screen that is a continuous workout and doesn’t require clicking through to progress. Otherwise: two thumbs up!”
Hey, I'm really glad you're digging the program :) You can definitely, 100% cast to a smart TV, and you can also set the program to auto advance without any clicks. Just shoot us an email if you need help figuring it out.
