“10/10. Matthew from the customer service team went above and beyond to assist me when the cog and belt perished My Hoselink reel is more than 10 year old plus and is heavily used. I contacted Matthew and sent him photos of the reel, he was able to diagnose the problem and arranged to send me the replacement parts, at no charge. I would have been happy to pay for the parts and shipping given the age of my reel but Matthew insisted there was no charge. He even sent me a link to a video showing me how to replace the cog and belt. I was able to follow the steps and my hoselink reel is back in action and as good as ever. Could have not asked for better service, will definitely be buying another Hoselink as I know if I ever have an issue Matthew and his team will be there to assist me”
“I am very disappointed as I have hardly used it and the hose is extremely hard to pull out. So much so that the cog wheel snapped in half. I was kindly sent a replacement cog which I have replaced but the spring is so tight that it is impossible to wind up. It is near impossible to retention the spring as I don’t have the appropriate tool. I’m really fed up and sorry that my family went to all the expense of buying it for me thinking it would be the best. My son has an Aldi hose reel and it is great $49.”
“Thank you for your assistance with replacing the Hose Reel Cog. Something to be aware of is that I had a lot of trouble with the screw holes in the body of the Hose Reel. Nearly all of them were blocked with an insect nest (probably a wasp) which was difficult to remove. In future I will block the holes with blu Tac or something similar to avoid future problems.”
