“Great Hose Reel – Fixed the Issue with Larger Screws
I recently purchased this hose reel and, upon first use, noticed water squirting out from the side panel when I opened the tap. After a quick inspection, I realized the screws on the panel were a bit too small to keep the seal tight. I replaced the three screws with slightly larger ones, and now everything works perfectly!
Once that was sorted, I was really impressed with the reel overall. It’s sturdy, easy to use, and retracts smoothly. The build quality is great, and it’s been a reliable addition to my garden. I’m happy with the purchase, and I’d definitely recommend this hose reel to others.”

“I ordered a new 30m Evolve Hoselink for my wife for Christmas, unfortunately it's not holding.
I followed the installation instructions and guidance video, installing into a Brick wall.
The mount itself holds, is level, and the screws tighten, however the top 2 screws don't stay within plugs when the reel is mounted on. The bottom two do.
After a few attempts and sealing the plugs inside the wall with liquid nails the screws still fail to hold.
It seems the weight of the reel + water in the reel is just too much.
I tried then using a larger M14 75mm screw (same thread), which still didn't hold!
Does the 20m and 30m Evolve use the same bracket plugs/screws? It seems the 30m is significantly heavier and the bracket plugs/screws just are too weak.
I haven't been able to reach Hoselink either via email or phone. It seems they are all on holidays.
Disappointed in the mount quality and strength.”

“bought one, paid for one (Evolve)....got sent two and charged for two (one Evolve, one Classic)...reported this upon seeing Australia Post delivery details and asked Hoselink to rectify. After cancellation, recieved 'Classic', with Evolve being returned to Hoselink....WHAT A NIGHTMARE!....Finally recieved 'Evolve', but as yet NO REFUND for the unwanted purchase”
“There is no doubt these are a solid reel and I love it if it didn’t keep failing. My first one blew out the side fitting this replacement reel is now pouring water out the bottom when in use… so disappointing as I’m sure these are a quality product. My last was replaced under warranty swiftly so hopefully same this time”
