Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“I received these wellington boots the other day and I wasn’t very impressed considerably expensive and they say very well made but I would not say that they are. I don’t want to faff around having to return items so when you expect quality of goods that are recommended to you based on their reputation you expect it to be received!”

“This is my 4th pair of these boots & they never disappoint. It’s like walking on air, I wear them for hours & they remain comfortable throughout. I thoroughly recommend these boots but remember, in hot weather your feet will get hot so make sure you air them!”

“I have owned a pair of the same wellingtons for, wait for it, 18 years! They have never let me down, on my feet everyday. Out hunting, on the horse, walking the dogs. They were in fact a gift, the best gift I have ever received. The time came to retire the old boots and bring in their new replacement. I hope my new wellingtons and I have the same relationship! Can't rate this brand enough. Thank you.”

“At last a pair of boots that actually fit at the calves without flapping around ! I have tried pretty much every wellington boot going and always have the same problem but these definitely have slimmer calves in mind whilst the strap system still allows for more generosity if needed Because I wear my boots on an almost daily basis I love the fact that they are confident enough in the product to give a 2 year warranty as my other problem has always been that boots these days just don’t seem to last and tend to split. So everything crossed that these will live up to my high expectations. Also very comfortable to wear .”
