Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“They're really flexible and the material feels more durable than stiff cheap wellies I've had in the past. After breaking them in, they're comfortable for a country walk ? I prefer minimalist footwear and they're not too cushy. The foot and leg of the boot are a little bit narrower than I expected. They fit but it'll be tough to wear them with jeans and they keep my feet very warm on a long walk. I would definitely size up if you have larger than average calves. I did get a little colour from the boot lining on my white socks the first time I wore them so be careful with white socks.”
