“I have the new macbook pro M1 with 16gb ram 1tb ssd and have been looking to replace my old elgato thunderbolt 3 dock with something that has a sd card reader and more ports, This caldigit dock not only delievers it its smaller too!!! great design driver a LG 5k thunderbolt display at 60hz no problems sd card reader is solid, and thunderbolt promise pegasus 2 drives aren't a problem on spead at all. with only 2 usb4/thunderbolt ports on the macbook pro 13 inch m1 you have to get this dock!! it will make life so much easier when doing work at your desk. Charges not only your macbook pro it will also charge a windows laptop with thunderbolt as well. Very good this is the only dock you need for any thunderbolt laptop.”

“I initially had some issues with the monitor not waking up after my macbook pro had been asleep for some time (the TS3 is connected to my monitor via displayport).
I eventually fixed this by going to notifications > do not disturb > unticking turn on do not disturb when the screen is locked
And also energy saver > unticking prevent computer from sleeping automatically when display is off as well as unticking enable power nap
Since fixing this issue the dock has worked flawlessly with multiple USB inputs including a thunderbolt external drive (samsung x5)”

“Happy with the dock. Charges my Lenovo Yoga which is great. Only issue I have is that if the battery on the Yoga is low when I connect to the dock, it keeps disconnecting all my peripherals (camera, external monitor, mouse, keyboard) randomly and then reconnecting them until the laptop is charged. This happens even if I plug in the laptops external power concurrently. I would say its because the total drain must exceed what the dock can put out.”
