“This is a very nice product that plays nice with my other powered hub also thunderbolt 3.
The bock is a nice size and sits well on the beak. It comes with a thunderbolt cable which is nice. All ports are labeled and easily accessible. It does not over heat and as mentioned plays very well with the multiple drives and other items I have on the desk including multiple hard drives, optical disk including blue ray and a second monitor with occasional other items like microphones. Generally a very solid purchase either as a stand alone item or if you really want lots of CB ports. My only concern which is not really a concern us the size of the power supply but if that hero’s the heat elsewhere not really an issue just need a place to put it out of the way

It's use as a laptop charger is super handy, the SD card reader is a nice bonus and the installation was dead easy. Would highly recommend for any Mac user looking to increase their inputs and functionality.”

Like other Caldigit products it is well constructed and the selection of ports suits my configuration with a macbook, raid backup system, external display and the usual other connections. The ability to disconnect the computer without a series of peripheral shutdowns is a great bonus.”
