“This is a great looking plane. It's easy to see in the sky with the color combo.I hand launched it twice. The first time it stalled and nose dived into the ground. Second time hand launching it was a success. Plane flew great!I decided to add the landing gear. It definitely changed the way this plane performed. It was very slow and nearing a stall unless full throttle was used.I'll probably remove the landing gear and keep it a hand launcher. Also, the nose wheel servo will restrict how far you can push the battery forward. I think this really changes the c/g. Good luck and have fun.”
“Being my first jet I took my time assembling. Even so, maybe an hour? I bought the optional 2200 mah pack and strongly recommend it. I like speed so my flights are full throttle in the five minute range. First flight was perfect: no problems of any kind, great stability, no tendency to stall or snap roll. I did set the CG 1/4†forward just in case but subsequent flights proved that unnecessary. My biggest problem was figuring out how to reliably hand launch. The method I settled on has me holding the tail with my index finger in the tailpipe and a gentle, very slightly upward toss. She flies away cleanly every time. After a dozen grass landings there is no damage whatsoever to the belly. Aerobatics are great, nice roll rate, pretty good verticals and big, round loops. What a sweet flyer! This has to be the deal of the century. Excellent plane, well made, great fun to fly. Not my last jet from these people for sure!”
