“This was my first order with Motion RC.Received the plane in three days, nice.My first F9F was about 5 years ago, different vendor.Members at my club, flew it more than I did.This Freewing F9F has a better fit and finish.Performance is just as good, if not better, than the first.I prefer a bit nose heavy, dual rates, and generous expo.This Is my comfort zone.A wonderful, fun, and inexpensive edf plane.Thank you Motion RC.”
“Disappointed with the overall looks of the plane because the connection between the body and vertical stabilizer does not match at the top of the fuselage where the 2 pieces meet. The stabilizer section that is glued to the fuselage sits up about 1/4 inch higher so there isn't a smooth transition from the fuselage to the stabilizer. Also the yellow paint on the stabilizer section is much lighter in color then the fuselage.”
“Easy to put together. I use 3s 2200mha all the way forward and it flights great. I have someone to hand launch slight up and light toss.It will veer to the right and be ready! Once up to full power have yourself a blast flying. Motionrc is the best!!!!!!!!”
“Motion RC is the best.I ordered my F9F Wed and it was at my door Friday.. :)The build was ok, and enjoyable except I had to reprogram the ESC because I had no throttle at first when I bound it to my transmitter.I took it out for the maiden today and this thing rocks on the Admiral 1600 pack that's recommended for it. It was windy and it flew well and had plenty of power. It slow flies well and is a blast at WOT.... :)Landing was smooth and I was very happy with the maiden.But I grabbed another pack and was going to do a second flight and checked all the controls prior to flight and the right side aileron servo was dead... Checked all connections and everything's good so it must be a bad servo. At least it didn't die in the flight.. :) Just a bummer that I only got to fly it once because I can see this being one of my favorite EDF's in my fleet...Buy this bird !! :)”
“I love it, I love it, I love it !!Today I got to put flights 2-5 on my Panther after borrowing an aileron servo from another plane. I set the dual rates because this bird is quick on the controls and it was an absolute joy to fly.I am using the recommended Admiral 1600 all the way forward and she's just a touch nose heavy, and flies perfectly like this. I wouldn't even think of going up in battery size. I will stay with the 1600.It has a lot of power, climbs like crazy, and has an awesome sound just with the stock set up. It sounds like a 10 or 12 blade when it passes buy, but with only a 5 blade .. :)I just need to buy a lot more batteries because I could fly this thing all day.I cant wait till the landing gear come back in stock so I can try it with them.5 flight summary is, don't let the cheap price fool you, this is the funnest EDF I have and will always have this plane in my fleet as long as Motion RC has parts for her...BUY THIS F9F.... :)”
