Today I flew my ta 152 for the first time in a while and it was a great first flight, with a great landing. Second flight was a different story. The plane was flying completely fine, so I was confident to fly the plane around a circuit inverted, which with little down elevator I'd did well. But then the problem happened. Just before I was going to roll out of inverted flight, I let go of the right stick to see what attitude the plane would take, and it stayed dead straight inverted, which is unexpected considering the fact that it should have dove a bit. I thought it was weird, but it didn't bother me enough because when I went to roll out it went straight into the ground, even with my up elevator input. What had happened, was completely unexpected and i had no answers. Based on the attitude of the plane, I can only speculate that the elevator servo had locked in position, which should just not happen. My only lead is that the blue box could have ******* up the signal or locked the servo. I have had technical problems with this plane before, as one gear has come down instead of the two, and I had to cycle the gear again to get the second down. All in all, if you are buying this plane I don't know if I could recomend the blue box, as it might have caused this crash, and as much disappointment as I got today. If there in anyone out there who might have suggestions, let me know.

This is a follow up to an earlier review,I now have 18 flites on it.and I thought I would answer a common question or misconception. The long wings do not behaveLike a glider in any way.the wing loading feels like most parksize warbirds I fly.No more float without flaps than my PZ fw190.The roll rate is a little slow but I increased the aileron travel 3 mm and it completes a very axial aileron roll each second.I only encounter tip stall or wing drop if I: 1 pull it off the runway.use only slight up on takeoff.its got lots of power even on 3 s, fly it off2:getting to slow on landings,I find it lands best with no or half flaps and just a touch of power.3:very tight turns at low speed. It will turn very tight, but if you cross the line,it will drop a wing ,usually to the inside.recovers immediately with relaxing of the controls. To sum up,It flys like a fast warbird dispite the long wing.Complements every time it flys.

I got this plane for my birthday from the best wife ever, and I had read the reviews.I watched the video on the blue box setup,This pointed out some things you may not notice that will make the difference in when your setting up your plane.I recommend seeing it just in case. also the retracts seemed to work intermittently,It turned out that they were just a little to tight in the wells and a couple of small washers under the retract and they work great.Pull the ESC out from under the battery board,it cools much better in the battery area and theres plenty of room. My point is ..Ive built a lot of these warbirds and this one needed some attention to what i was doing but everything works fine.Three flights today Zero issues.last tip dont pull it in to the air with the elevator.the motor has plenty of power, let it fly itself off ,I was off the ground in 6 feet.Have fun. great flyer

Someone from MotionRC removed my last review on TA 152 about the ESC burning up midair. What happened to my June 2017 review of this plane? The support ticket I created was handled by an agent who did not know much. Everyone at rcgroups.com believed that the ESC was faulty. How do I get someone at MotionRC to care about this dangerous situation where other customers may not be aware?See the ESC and motor burn up after crash, while the battery tray was ejected and safe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-S7YXO0bOOw.Also see discussion page here: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?2720815-FlightLineRC-1300mm-Focke-Wulf-Ta-152-H-1/page82

This is a great plane but it took me some sweat and tears to get to the point where I'm comfortable flying it. Had a warped prop shaft out of the box, Motion RC was great as usual and sent me a replacement, thanks Guys!! After a few crashes on takeoff due to torque roll and insufficient speed and rough landings pulling the gear out of the wings I finally feel like I know how to fly this plane. Once in the air this plane is a pure joy to fly, amazing speed, so smooth the biggest challenge I had is to not let it get too far out, it really gets away fast! I'm flying with 2500mah 4s middle back of the battery tray, Hobby Eagle A3l gyro under the tray near the CG. Extra hot glue on the landing gear to keep them in place. Even after some damage to the foam from crashes it is very flyable and very fun. Very distinctive profile in the air and super smooth compared to other warbirds I've flown (corsairs, mustangs) Highly recommended, but beginner and intermediate pilots beware, it has a learning curve. All in all highly recommended and thanks Motion for a great plane!
