Great looking and flies great. My only complaint is that the main landing gear attachment is not reinforced, just glued to the foam wing. A hard landing has a tendency to rip the gear out along with the leading edge of the wing. Even a realatively soft landing on grass has done it too. Some plastic or plywood spars to hold the gear attachment box would be a vast improvement.

Everything exceeded my expectations! From the packaging to all the extras decals and quality of the structure and finish. I did have to use my own ideas to fix a couple things. First I used a full kitchen knife to carefully remove canopy which is held on by a rubbery Soft glue but peels off easy. I fastened my pilot back in by using brush dowel which fit perfectly and glue that wears included with plane. Next I bought Loctite adhesive spray and I sprayed the areas with a quick light coating and let dry for an hour before I put my decals on and then I sprayed another quick coating over top and it only discolored the blue slightly but at least the decals won’t come off. Decals stuck a lot better but when I trade without. Awesome plane I think I will buy several more later and put on different decals.

Day one: Both Landinggear doors magnets came off due to wrong glue or not enough glue. Day two: Decals did not stick to the body (old decals with old glue?). I removed them again and used some old spair decals from FMS.Day three: Take off was ok. Complete desaster during landing on a short grass runways with low landing speed and an acceptable touch down.Result: Left landinggear and wheel came loose and broke a part of the left wing. The foam hinges of the left elevator and aileron where teared off .I gave it away to a friend who will try try to repair it and will definitely not use in on grass.I got no compensation at all from MotionRC and therefore purchased a YAK-11 from HKing: Perfect decals and a robust landinggear with CNC machined fully functioning oleo struts. Perfect landings on even +1 grass runways.

This is still my favorite RC warbird after ~5 years and I have had many great models since. Just flies awesome. 7m flight times on a 4000mah 4s. Stock motor, esc. I designed a 3d-printed prop hub that pushes the prop diameter to 13in to get a bit more punch out of the stock system. Only criticisms are decals look great but don't stay stuck, and kinda weak gear (the latter could be due to poor piloting).I've done a overhaul with a bright yellow paint jobn since I beat the crap out of this bird and it's back to it's old self, flying awesome and putting a big smile on my face.

Was looking for a new warbird for my hangar. Saw James video and it reminded me that the Bearcat was a cool plane. Picked it up and was not disappointed. Instruction manual was not the most clear I have seen, but the plane is fairly simple to assemble. It also appears to be an older design because there was some flaws in the foam on the rudder bottom of the wings. You don't see that on the newer releases. As a bonus it had the decals to match a Bearcat that was flown with my Tigercat so it really completed a matched set.

I have not flown this bird yet but am impressed with fit and finish. Beautiful airplane and all others report a great flyer. Plenty of livery options from a bunch of decals. Decals to have to be applied, if you haven't done vinyl lettering decals before be careful and go slow. So far I would definitely recommend this craft.
