Order processed & delivered smartly in 4 days. Very well packaged & came out of the box in perfect condition. One very solid model. Painted it with additional non scale yellow on the control surfaces except flaps. Needed sealed with clear lacquer sprayed on. The stickers were very fragile, hard to stick & brush applied lacquer migrated the blue onto the yellow stickers. Screws together in an hour & 25 mins. Approx. Main wing front screws went straight in but rear wing screws needed real backward pressure applied to the wing tips to get the holes to line up & the screws in. Similarly tailplane needed considerable pressure to get the holes to line up compounded by the round fuselage restricting access. Have yet to fly it so have given it a good rating in the meantime.

Plane flies great. It went together quickly. Only complaint is that the decals do not stick very well. Had to order new ones from Callie Graphics.

I have flown one of my Bearcats (the first one) on the stock system and its a great airplane, probably one of the best first warbirds in my opinion. Since then I have upgraded all my others with a 650 kv, 85A Mantis ESC and an FMS 1400 mm Corsair prop to better emulate the real Bearcat. Did you know the Bearcat was the first plane to go from a standing stop to 10,000 feet in 90 some odds seconds. The airplane that finally broke the record, believe it or not was the F15!

After getting the tigercat, I decided I needed the bearcat. The only. negative is the decals do not stick well. put a 4000mah in her and it flys on rails. it has a wide range of speed. the the stability of the wider landing gear of the bearcat.

Really impressed with the fit and finish on this plane. Nice scale outline, and well engineered. Plenty of room under the cockpit for your battery and electronics. I made a little receiver tray out of some light ply. Great value for the money. Love the scale prop.

After reading other reviews, here's my 2 cents worth. I bought one NIB from a club member, banged it up a bit, and then bought another one from Horizon. The CG is critical. One 4S 4000ma battery makes it so tail heavy it took twelve 1/4oz weights to balance it. Make yourself a Y connector for two 4S 2200ma batteries installed sideways pushed up front, then only five weights. Yeah. the paint really chips off the battery hatch area. The supplied carbon fiber main strut is only 10 long but you can easily get an 11-1/2 one in there. Finally, a warbird that doesn't nose over on take off and landing; just keep it to about 1/3 flaps. Keep the control surfaces at the minimums to start, really touchy. Put a couple washers in for motor downthrust and go to a 2 blade prop so it doesn't torque itself off the runway. I'm painting mine lime green with red trim and Callie Graphics Leeward Ranch P-51 (1/8 scale) decal set; I can't see Navy blue too well especially at dusk or dawn. Chris R.
