“Assembly was straight forward with no issues. Minor discrepancy with the instructions on where the wires for the lights get plugged into the control box. Just unplug and plug the light wires until correct. Not a big deal. I went with a single 4S 5000MH battery and get plenty of flight time. Those of you that use the throttle as an on/off switch will get greatly reduced flight time. Cruising at half throttle will give you 6min plus flights. Two 6 min flights are the norm from a fully charged pack with plenty of charge left to not over discharge the battery. Landings with half flap and a dash of throttle to round out the flare makes for a graceful arrival. Looks great in the air, fly it often.”

“I am adding to my previous review. The P-38 flies fantastic! Just keep the speed up in the turns and on landing and you'll be fine. The upgraded gear are excellent. (Still don't like that these are a paid upgrade.) Very nice roll rate and control surface response. A beauty in the air that you don't often see at the flying field! But please do a rewrite of the manual!”

“The P-38 arrived in absolutely perfect shape! What a beauty! But the manual needs a complete overhaul. Lots of steps detailed that don't need doing. Poor detailing of CG and radio setup. NO wiring setup steps at all for blue box. VERY POOR. Resulted in plugging in wires randomly to see what works. For a $420 dollar model, why do I need to pay for landing gear upgrades Eflite and FMS are way ahead on this! Step it up, MotionRC/Flightline!!!”

“Although a little tight on the wiring area this is one of the best looking, flying, and overall quality of an RC plane I have. Keep the power to her and she'll behave like a trainer. Would recommend this plane to anyone.”
