“Plane looks good but unfortunately I had some product quality issues. The props didn't fold correctly and and esc smoked out as soon as I plugged my 3s 2200 in.Lucky motion RC has me covered and sent me a new prop and esc.”

“Flight envelope is impressive! Will fly fast but will slow down to a crawl with flaps extended. This glider is capable of aerobatics yet is fun catching a thermal too. Just an enjoyable aircraft to fly. I appreciate the ease of removing the wings for transport. The only negative is the interference fit of the folding prop to the spinner. The prop will not fold properly unless a little material is removed from the spinner. No big deal.”

“The Shrike is a great motor glider. It is very forgiving but still able to provide great performance. I have never experienced a tip stall or any other bad habits.I love how easy it is to connect the wings, so storage and transport is very easy. The weight is relatively light for its size, mine is 750 grams (no battery). I love the flaps which allow it really slow down and keep flying, you can land it in a relatively small space. I also connect the ailerons on two different channels, that way, you can create a "camber" mix switch which allows both ailerons and flaps to droop down slightly, this can increase the glide performance in light lift conditions. Conversely, you can have both ailerons go up slightly and act as spoilersI have flown it many times using 4-S batteries and the stock ESC and motor, as you can expect, it has more power and speed. However, I found the throttle response much more jumpy and harder to get just the right throttle setting. I went back to flying with 3-S batteries and it is actually more enjoyable!I added my own color scheme which you can see in the photo.”
