This has been a grate plane for stol and scale flying , love the inflatable wheels have about 60 flights on it now. I removed the slats from the wings. For easier flight

Loved plane but for months now no available parts. So plane may never fly again. I would not have bought if I knew there would never be parts for it.

Fantastic flight performance, but expect some tinkering.First off, this plane flies exceptionally well. It looks great, handles nicely, and has plenty of power. However, I ran into a few issues during assembly and shortly after. The quality control is questionable — one of my wings didn’t fit without some adjustment, and two of the wing strut screws broke during assembly. Both tires also started leaking air from the valve soon after I finished putting it together. The documentation is lacking. The included manual is short, and the only video guide I found was for the V1 version. There were no instructions for the built-in light controller, and I learned the hard way that if you connect all the lights to it, it gets very hot.Lastly, the tail wheel was a bit finicky, but a drop of oil fixed that easily.Overall, the Bison XT V2 is a great-flying aircraft if you’re willing to fix a few issues out of the box.

Overall good plane good build. Flying:Flies abit heavy on 6S 4000s, but it's a good plane to fly. It's suceptile to dropping a wing so don't fly it less than 50% throttle. It has good presence and good colors, it has good controls, although I noticed the rudder does not steer the plane well and the plane has a lot of adverse yaw. These are just characteristics though so I won't be too hard on it.Build/quality.Solid. Mine came with a bad flap servo and connector but motion took care of it. After new flap servo and connector though the plane is a tank. I want to say good quality stuff but seems the flap servos are somewhat notorious for being bad out the box. Overall though great plane so it gets a 4/5 even with the drawbacks

Let me start by saying I haven't maiden this airframe however I'm at the point of setting up the control surfaces. The appearance of this model is unique and that is the reason I purchased it. The quality of the hardware is poor and I replaced most of it using cap head screws and cap head machine screws. As others have said the installed wire was a "rats' nest" but can be resolved. The tire assemblies leaked air but all it takes is using a fuel dot inserted in the valve stem to correct this problem. Moving along to attaching the rudder assembly to the horizontal tail does present another problem. Once you attach the rudder to the horizontal tail you will get more right than left throw. This is caused by the bottom fixture of the rudder molded improperly. A Dremel sanding drum took care of it. In addition to this I also replaced the springs because they were too stout. The props supplied are useless and I replaced them with XOAR wood substitutes. An excellent choice would be a 17X10 for scale performance. One last thing to point out are the slats installed. If you hook them up to the flaps they will behave as spoilers. I recommend leaving them in the close position with a close position of 2mm. This can be accomplished by inserting a piece of rigid foam in the channel of the bell crank that actuates the slats. These are the major issues that I have addressed and must be resolved prior to flying. To sum this up stay away from this plane unless you have the; tools, hardware and building experience. I have all three but the average modeler doesn't.

first is too heavy for the size, not scale to the full size, l.e. slats only fixed ( try to have a look at Kavan Norden), wings are nice to see, but the airfoil is destroyed between each rib, wing chord not scale, main landing gear one leg ok, the other is blocked, propellers not balanced, spinner shaft hole too little, engine too big for a STOL: why do aerobatics? does the full size does? firewall left angle to be increased, lot of lights you can't see, servo wiring a mess: 500 euro for an epo plane must have a 7 chaneel radio, one wire for each channel. It can fly but far away from a STOL, nice big wheels don't make a STOL. Awful amount of little screws to secure wing to fuselage, same for H stabilizer. My suggestion: try a V10 directly :-)
