This plane flies great on Six cell I built mine as a float plane since I have a lake outside my house My build took about 6 hours maybe 8 the videos motion shows are OK but not perfect so if this is your 1st or 2nd build expect some wtf and frustration it's a hobby take your time your be rewarded with a great flyer I didn't hook up the slats they actually really are brakes on a lake I don't need them Floats work great rudder is responsive you only need 1 crosswind landings not an issue Under 8 mph With wind landings also not an issue Flaps on takeoff required 10 percent down elevator landing was 15 on spectrum The light board for me wasn't needed I'm flying with a nine channel receiver so I use that for the lights As far as the wiring goes I needed a few extensions and a longer y for the rudders You can fly this plane on the Admiral.6000 50 C battery and get 8 to 10 minutes easy if Hou conserve throttle I'm only flying this as a float plane the maiden was easy I only fly high rates it's a pussy cat can do basic rolls hammers and loops decent vertical even with floats So ..... if you have a ton of 6 cell battery's like I do and a body of water nearby get this float plane ...If I didn't I would have gotten a smaller plane my nearest RC field is 60 miles away so I get to fly right outside my house and in the winter if it snows I have a ski.plane

Very nice flying airplane after adjusting the CG back a little from spec. Flying it with a 6S 5000 giving an easy 12 min of flying time.Squawks: Tires don't hold air. One now does after doing the Vaseline in the valve trick per Motion RC video, but other tire won't hold air for more than one flight. Submerged in water confirmed a leaking valve.2nd Problem: Left flap servo went into stutter mode then froze after less than a half dozen flights. Thankfully, not when I was trying to land as that would have been a handful with one side flaps only. Not surprising that both tires and flap servos are out of stock!! Sounds like common failures.Thankfully, the plane flies fine and lands pretty slow with no flaps, so still flying, but Motion RC needs to find better wheel and servo hardware than currently supplied. Looking forward to getting all working hardware on this plane at some point.

This airplane is the definition of great idea and absolute worst execution. I give quality of construction and materials used a 2/10. This airplane is fragile!!! That's a lot coming from a guy who has only been flying Eflight till now. The slats are garbage! They don't actually function right aerodynamically. I removed them and it flies better with the same angle of attack and slow flight speeds only more controlled and less bad stall tendencies. I should have heeded the warnings but I didn't and I hate to admit my mistakes. Buying this airplane was a mistake! The price should be below $200 with how poor the product was overall. It looks great that's the reason I bought it and it does still make a better show piece than a fun park flyer.

Had one flap servo fail before the first flight. Servo would move in a slow and jerky manner and continue to move even after being unplugged. Had this happened in flight in could have likely caused a crash due to the flaps being in different positions. The slats do not function to create additional lift. The way they are hinged, the slats perform more like spoilers. Tires came preassembled on the hubs but they lose air through the valve stems.
