“First off this thing is the most thrilling plane to fly it just gets better and better with every flight. I have a need to find the extremes in high angle of attack landing approaches and this thing can do it all. I left the slats on..set up crow config and push the battery back so the CG is almost tail heavy. The stock Gemfam 15x8 prop was totally out of wack..tried many different brands and pitches, last one I tried was an EOLO 15x8 from sunny sky and wow way more performance and perfectly balanced rite out out the pakage. I absolutely love flying this plane, at first I wasnt sure if it could fly slow, but it can fly slower than my Tundra with crow config. The rubber wheels, the spring landing gear, the power and just the presents of it in the air it just blows me away how cool this bird turned out to be! The only gripe i have is it won't fit in the back of my 4 door jeep..the FMS super cub does but this does not..total disaster I ripped off one of the ailerons just trying to get it back out of haflway in the jeep. Great plane for the price..its a wiinner winner chicken dinner all day long!! thanks motion RC I'm lovin this plane! you rock.”

“This is my type of aircraft, so I felt from the start that I'd like it, but I did see a few issues purchasers were reporting via reviews and this did give me pause.Right off the Bison XT seemed to be high quality, fit and finish. hardware,heavy duty servos, and features galore.It did take a little search, but the way to handle issues quickly came to light.This purchase represented a big one time commitment but I am very happy to have Bison XT.”

“Nice plane, but ... motor bolts loose, one missing wire loom, a rats nest, tailwheel rebuild, wings grind to fit, cg 77mm not 57, light control took out lights. prop too far out of balance. tires and wheels never mind... replace, ailerons torn hinge in grass, built shield..... now it flies very well ,,, not up to motion standards”

“Was finally able to get the maiden in today. 32 degrees winds 5 to 15 she flew like a Cadillac i have no word's she is a absolute baby to fly flies exactly as she should dialled in right and she does everything a bush plane should. Been in the Hobby 25 + year's and have flown everything from small balsa to 30 and 40% along with turbine Jets and i have to say this Bison is an exceptional aircraft everyone should have! “First, did not like having the manual online only. Inconvenient.Second, if you are a newbie, this would be a difficult build. Some ambiguous directions and some incorrect directions like the size of screw for the landing gear.It's a nice looking plane. I bought it for the moveable slats. They're a bit underwhelming. I'm in the process of replacing the hinges for the ailerons as the pinch hinges did not hold up at all. No biggie, but they could've been better. Very sensitive on the ailerons, so consider that when programming. Flies OK, but very light for it's size, so high winds do push it around. Cross wind landings can be tricky. I replaced the wheels with a set of Dubro's. Better quality and I couldn't get the originals to seal properly. I wish they had been a bit more careful with the wiring. It's a bird's nest and hard to hide with all the windows. I'm working on a solution for that by making a cockpit. Still a nice model. Unique, as it were. Would I buy it again? The jury is still out. Bear in mind, I'm comparing this to Draco's performance.”

“Great plane flies beautifully--Need to upgrade tires -- took 3 days to finally get them sealed--Light controller failed within minutes of plugging battery in--replacement on back order--slats work great-under carriage awesomely strong--tail wheel useless -- had to replace springs with stronger springs to get any turning at all--even with all the problems it's a great plane once you work out the bugs”

“Excellent!! Awesome tech support!!! You're not alone in dealing with issues. This is a follow up from my first review a month ago. The wheels are now fix and so with the issue with the flaps.The plane flies beautifully during the maiden flight and to my surprise, it has a lot of power and authority up in the air and guess what? No trimming needed on its first flight, like its on rails!!!The landing gear quality and performance is super duper awesome. It's suspension is so well designed and strong that it's like watching a full scale Bison on landing and the air filled real tires really worked on uneven surfaces assisted with working suspensions. I even opted to land in uneven surfaces rather than on our paved runway because its fun to watch how she handles.Again, guys pay attention to the tires. Be patient and allow more time for the glue to dry before moving on. I strongly suggest you use tire glue! I'm buying another one and this time with floats. I hate removing landing gear to floats and vice versa.”
