“Positives; The plane has a good look, foam is good, paint is good. Landing gear is niceNeg. Tires are a PIA to put together and not leak. The bec for the light controller has to be replaced it gets way too hot. I unplugged it so the plane wouldn't burn up in flight. The props that came with it were junk, center hole off center and a the small prop looked ok, but It had lot of dents in it. Tail wheel is junk design, it won't turn the plane. The plane feels very heavy in the air and is tough to land as intended. (6cell 5000)”

“Flies ok, was hoping for more STOL characteristics. Other issues I've found are, poor manual documentation, Couldn't get the slats even on both sides, tried to fix that but ended up snapping the linkage in the wing. Slats are now taped down. Couldn't get the tires to seal properly, install was messy, no documentation on how to properly glue them. Spinner was extremely off balance, removed it. Plane balloons a bit when flaps are deployed, manual does not mention mixing elevator. It has decent power and can do some aerobatics, landing is pretty fun with the tires and suspension. I love that I can deflate the tires for more rugged terrain.”

“Worst build I have ever had on a foam plane. Lots of part had to be adjusted. Inflating tires is a night mare. Instructions are horrible and I had to down load them as well. Windows are fuzzy. Light controller is overheating. (Mrc will replace, thanks) control arms did not fit. Foam finish looks cheap.”

“Have not flown this plane yet. Flight reviews seem good. However, you would have thought if Motion R.C. put their name on a product, they would have been much more careful on the build. First no manual included in the box. Had to download! Manual poorly written. Leaves out details. The wheels are poorly conceived and should be provided as a finished product. Had to re drill holes for tail assembly. Screws didn't fit.Wires everywhere! I think this could have been laid out better. I.E. Placement! Organizing ESC to fit in compartment properly would have been nice. I bought this plane because it had Motion R.C. listed as the designer and thus responsible. I don't believe they ever did a review before going into production. For a few extra bucks they could have done a much better job and left a good model behind, which would have served them for many years. I don't see this plane lasting very long.”

“Totally bummed out. Hours gluing, adjusting, setting it up to having a maiden that lasted less than 10 seconds ending in a totaled plane. I so wanted to like this plane and show our club that there are other good planes out there besides the Timbers. The thing that I can tell you is it had no power. I first thought it had a defective motor or ESC, but a guy on Hobby Squawk pointed out that maybe it was a need for a throttle learn. Over the years while mixing and matching ESC's and motors I guess I've been lucky and never had a problem. I know at some point luck runs out. Could be but will never know now. Use caution folks !! In fairness I did buy a Black Horse Wilga and NGH 38cc engine from Motion this year also and other than a minor problem it's been fun to fly. My thoughts at this point is to say be careful if you buy one of these.”

“Bison came in with the esc just laying loose in the battery tray. The clear plastic pieces for the widows are not clear and the top one has a spot on it that appears to be from the molding process.”
