Bonjour J’ai acheté le Bison en mars, très bel avion très ingénieux. Je vous soumets les modifications que j’ai apporté.J’ai changé les servos par des KST mini. J’ai monté une double alimentation et supprimé le fil rouge de l’ESC, alimentée par 2 2s 600A.Remplacé les lumières par un kit Unilight en circuit séparé et alimenté par une 2s et démontable.Supprimé les lattes ,remplacées par des générateurs de vortex du Carbon Z Monté une Aura 8 (gyroscope de chez Flex Innovations) pour pouvoir activer le mode Crow.Mis un cône d’hélice ventilé.Je ne l’ai pas encore essayé car je je dois être opéré du cœur cette semaine. Je donnerai dans quelques semaines après l’opération. J’ai l’habitude de ce genre de modifications, le l’ai fait sur un FunCub xt ,un Cessna 170 Flex Innovations un Carbon Z et un Bushmaster.

A very unique plane , very sturdy built and inflatable tires are a real game changer along with the challenge of slats. Plenty of power and a unique flying experience.

I've been flying mine for about 3 months now on and off. Had to swap out both aileron servos as one was dead on arrival so replaced with a matched pair. (Think there may be an issue with stock servos from Motion RC). Needs 8 channels to have all the bells and whistles working but is an absolute pig in any crosswind over about 5 knots. Manageable but only just. Crosswinds are more or less constant where I fly (east coast of Scotland) with tight approach routes as none of our runways align with the prevailing wind on days ending in 'y'. I am seriously considering a stabiliser to avoid the u/c being bent on touchdown again (very soft metal). On an open site with no c/w worries it's bags of fun though.

Good aircraft, last only 5 flights because a defective transmitter/receiver that I bought together. Easy to assemble, and to fly, but is not a trainer,. Super STOL capabilities. I would have loved to enjoy it more.

The one big issue I had was how to connect the wires for the lights. There needs to be drawing showing how to connect the lights. You need more than a 5 channel reciver to get the lights work. Airplane looks and flies great.

Ok so i was sold on the positionable slats.Im guessing this bird is to fly with 2 position flaps. As if you try to implement full flaps, the slat opens too far and spoils the whole wing. At half flaps, best i could do was about 25° flaps with a correct slat opening. Granted, this plane does not need full flaps ever, but i like to have it.I think the slats are in the wrong aoa mounted to the wing also. I believe they sit too high on the wing. I have since fixed the slats in the down position and seems to fly nice this way.I do like the plane a lot after all the modifications, but i dont think they got the slats right on this one.

The plane arrived undamaged and with no missing parts. Assembly is very straight forward with the exception of the inflatable wheels. At this price point I feel the wheels should be ready to mount for simplicity. The plane has a sturdy scale type landing gear. The wing slats need to be operated with their own servo as the current method does not fully retract the slats. The plane flies well and does live up to the STOL characteristic.
