Good selection, information and prices. My solar-powered trail camera with wifi to app is very good.

After buying cheap trail cameras for years with mixed results I decided it was time to pay more. Quite a bit more and hope for better build and video quality. After much research I settled on Naturespy and particularly liked their pledge to pay back to wildlife charities from company profits. I was impressed by their website with its video introductions to each trail camera model. But I like recording night videos of at least three minutes to capture action of my foxes and badgers -- and the occasional hedgehog and mouse and deer! I think they only offer the Helarctos Solar camera with a three minute capability. So I bought it. First impressions: Build quality and software are excellent. Easy to set up. And a very big plus for me was the fact it is solar powered even though I don`t use that, but it allows me to charge during the day with a cable. I also add four AA batteries as back up. But I only put it out at night in my garden so I am not concerned about losing power. But what about the quality of the videos taken at night...? Quite frankly I was amazed at the quality. The 2K and, of course, 4K resulted in being able to see individual hairs on Mr Brock when he was happily slurping away from the water bowl. No light from the camera to disturb him. I was also pleased to see the IR lighting was very well balanced. The cheap camers were over exposing the animals in a harsh IR glare, but here the lighting was well dispersed across the image. To sum up: I couldn`t be more pleased and the extra cost was so worth it. I should have gone to Naturespy years ago. (If I could upload a sample video you would see why I am raving about this excellent camera.)

This is the first trail.camera Ive had. I've set it up in my back garden, as I have a hedgehog feeding box and wanted to see what was using it..Pleased to say hedgehogs have been visiting and captured by the camera, as well as field mice, foxes and cats! Video quality is good, even at night. I haven't managed to connect it to the internet yet, so have to download images from the SD card to watch the recordings.

This camera was easy to set up. It's working well and taking a good number of photos. It's easy to move around. Make sure to download the correct app, not the Naturespy one which I did!

I cannot review the product in action yet as it was bought at a Christmas present for my wife. On checking the camera on arrival it is clearly a high quality, well made product and I found dealing with the firm very easy and they offered a very professional service. Can't wait to see it in action when we visit Kruger National Park in January 2026.

The body and controls of this camera are virtually identical to that of a Chinese model that I purchased a couple of years ago, which is now unavailable. The software however is quite different and, in my opinion, unintuitive and overly complicated. Though, with use, it eventually becomes second nature, with the realisation that most settings don't need further changes anyway. Like its Chinese counterpart, it has an exceptionally wide angle view, and depth of field clarity, far more than the Brownings I have. Unlike one reviewer I can't say it has greater sensitivity than any other camera I own, but it seems adequate for a camera in its price range. Mine is used exclusively for night video and produces very pleasing bright clear images of my regularly visiting foxes, tempted by sausage sandwiches! It's clear to see why NatureSpy promotes this camera as I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with the results it produces. The cost, I feel, is on the high side - far more than its Chinese cousin, but then one is assured that profits are directed to good causes. The long term reliability remains to be seen, but surely it can't be worse than all the Brownings I've owned over the years, which have ALL played-up, then finally packed-up; hugely disappointing considering their cost! Overall, yes, I would recommend this.
