“The PhoneSoap Pro has a nice internal size for disinfecting larger iPhones and small items. Having USB-C ports and the five minute completion time is a plus.”
“Works as advertised. My only issue with phonesoap is there's not an on/off or start button. The bulbs have a lifespan, but every time you take something out of it and close the lid, it starts the process again, so technically you're getting half of the total usage (unless you unplug each time you finish)”
“EVERYONE is getting a PhoneSoap for Christmas. I'm by no means a germaphobe (just a regular amount of cautious) and love having a super quick and easy device to blast away the nasties. I have an iPhone 14 Pro and it fits with the case on with room to spare. Other things that fit: my Roku remote, my AirPods, my keys, my glasses, and my sunglasses. I wish I'd gotten a PhoneSoap a million years ago, but I'm stoked to have it now (and to give everyone in my family one too!).”
“It definitely cleans the phone with UV light, but it’s really hard to open, which seems like a simple design flaw that should have been figured out a long time ago.”
Hi James,
Thank you for reaching out! I'm so sorry that you're having a hard time opening this unit. The lid is designed to be heavier with a higher seal to close to ensure that the UV-C light is trapped inside. You can reach out to cs@phonesoap.com and our team has recommendations for those struggling with this heavier lid.
Thank you so much!

“It's a well-made, sturdy and elegant product. If I had one piece of feedback, the "latch" strength on the lid is ~30% greater than would feel ideal to me. I'm glad it's secure, but it can take a bit of effort to open.”
