“Do not fall for this product! Plain and simple, it doesn’t work and should purely be used as a decoration. It feels extremely cheap and makes you feel more wet than you were before “drying off”. I’m sure Sand Cloud’s other products are great, but I write this to warn people to not buy the towels if you want a functioning one.”

“I'm a huge Sand Cloud fan. We have them for the beach, for the pool, for our home. After I got my first set, I'd send family the link and say "this is what I want for X holiday", etc. Until we replaced nearly all our towels. All of our towels except the kids bathroom towels -primarily because the XL size. Every other listing that has an XL size towel says so in the name of the towel. The ones that don't say it are standard size towels. Except this one. It an XL towel and isn't labeled.
Another issue is that photos are definitely filtered to show a brighter color. These towels are more like a dull-reddish-brick-terracota color than the orange clay appearance they give in the listing photos (and we checked the color on 4 devices and changed our screen brightness, it's not the device).
And last but most important, is the customer service is what killed it. After waiting nearly a year to get the black friday or Cyber Monday deal on kids bathroom towels, we end up with the wrong size and color based on the misrepresentation. I reached out asking to exchange them for a different towel, in the regular size, for the equivalent value (a towel that was at the same price point on my date of purchase) and was instead offered to keep the towels (that I already said don't work for me) at a bigger discount as they would refund me some of my purchase price. Why not let me apply that discount to getting the size that does work for me?”

“Although a larger towel, the towel is too thin and becomes easily saturated. As a result, I cannot completely dry off after a shower. This towel would be a great pool or beach towel but not a everyday use for bathing.”
