“I had often considered myself a healthy person, yet after continuing to explore different products through SGS, I have found that now I actually do eat healthy!! Most of the time at least... One thing I love most about SGS is how they encourage you to take baby steps, to push yourself in moments, yet to also ensure you treat yourself here and there. In 2018 I had a health scare -- a pre-cancerous diagnosis in which my Doctor basically provided me with surgery as the only answer to prevent the pre-cancerous cells from becoming cancer. “One of the most amazing benefits of the cleanse was how it curbs the cravings! We discovered that once we get away from the sugar, we don’t want it. We mostly stay away from dairy, after realizing how much cheese and milk we were consuming! We use almond milk, but I still do buy cottage cheese because we like to eat that with fruit for dessert. My husband has always taken sandwiches for lunch, but after the cleanse he said he wasn’t ready for bread! Revamping our lunches has been a huge change, but it is well worth it. We may have lentils or beans and rice, plus fruit and nuts. We are more willing to try new foods or recipes now, because the cleanse opened our eyes to the fact that we can get full on meals that don’t have meat or pasta! We haven’t totally given those up, but I have been using chickpea pasta and use meat as more of a condiment. I used to be so intimidated by fresh produce, and now it feels half of our shopping cart! We still eat out once a week, that we have become more selective in what we order. The whole process has made us be much more in tune with how food makes our bodies feel, and intern we are willing to listen to our bodies! The biggest eye-opener for me was discovering how much emotional eating I was doing, and it prompted me to take a look at that. We have always enjoyed walking and hiking, but we have decided to go to the next level by beginning strength training. I hope all of this makes sense! It’s sometimes hard to put into words all of the changes mentally physically and emotionally that can come from changing the way you eat. The journey continues!”

“Really great recipes, menus, and prep and shopping lists. I didn't feel hungry. I definitely felt like I was cleansed, even as early as week 1. Sticking with it for 21 days was an achievement and I'm glad I did it. I felt better. I could tell it reduced inflammation from arthritis because I had more endurance with walking and exercise. My digestion was better and I lose about 10 pounds whenever I do this cleanse. (I've done it for 3 years now.) It's a lot of prep work but the more I make changes to the way I eat and doing the cleanses and resets on a seasonal basis every year, the prepping becomes easier and more "second nature." “Fresh Start is exactly what this cleanse is and I love that about it. I will say it requires you to spend a little time getting organized and prepping and because it's 21 days it is a commitment, but it will change your life. I weighed well over 350 lbs when I first did this cleanse and my eating habits were horrible. I never had any energy and always wished something would work for me. High protein/low carb? Nope. Points instead of calories? Nope. Powdered "food" you add water to? No, and I was hungry and mad. I tried this because it seemed like what did I have to lose.
