“I ordered an inexpensive no frills custom built Iaito (unsharpened edge) for practice training. I did so through Swordis’ least expensive Hanbon option. Having multiple other swords, I am genuinely impressed at how well put together the katana is; having used it daily for the past week. Even though it has only one samegawa panel, the hishigami wrap is rock solid which is important for daily handling. In using a laser, the blade is perfectly aligned with the center of the tsuba. However it is off center from the center of the kashira by a shade under 2 millimeters which is of no concern to me. Keep in mind that the sword cost under $150! The blade itself is unflawed by any pock marks, discoloration or scratches as experienced with other custom brands. The saya fit was appropriately tight to begin with. Communication from Swordis was excellent. I won’t hesitate ordering any other custom swords through Swordis and their Hanbon partner.”

“It came in the time it said it would looked great and everything about it was amazing the fittings we’re perfect with the one problem with the whole thing was the little Pom poms on the strings of the bag came off thats it not a single thing was wrong with the sword”
