Thank you so much for my first katana, I had to wait until Christmas to open it but I recieved it before then. The blade is a beautiful black, looks durable, strong and came sharp, oiled and well wrapped with the sword bag. The Saya is beautiful and the whole sword is a work of art. I look forward to cutting with it and taking care of it.

The sword was crafted a bit faster than expected and shipped way faster than expected, even with America being ridiculous with shipments right now. The sword is extremely beautiful and exactly what I wanted. The blade comes with oil and protective wraps even inside of the saya. One of the most secure and cushioned sword shipments I've ever had with no damage to the box. I am excited and already planning my next sword.

i made a custom katana on swordis using the hanbon forge after doing a bunch of digging into them and finding mainly nothing but good about them and their swords. so since i always wanted a katana even as a kid, i decided to give them a chance. after about 2 weeks they sent me an email with pictures of the sword, i was ecstatic with joy, it looked awesome. i replied with how i thought of it and they shipped it off to me, got it about a week later. i have NO experence with with swords or katana's. but i have played with crappy stainless steel one's in the past that you really shouldn't be handling, this is definitly not one of those... this one is sharp and battle ready as per my design of the metals and such. they did a great job on it and i love it. even with practicing with it almost everyday, it's still feels awesome every time i handle it.

This handmade katana is perfect. It’s exactly as I wanted it and all the fittings and ito are very tight. I absolutely love it. The craftsmanship and attention to detail makes it worth the wait. These swords are far better quality than the other “handmade” katanas on the internet. I highly recommend.
