“Everything about the katana itself is perfect and I absolutely love it. My only complaint is actually about the saya which has what appears to be a peg of some kind that has come lose and protrudes through the outer coating such that it can be completely removed. I pushed it back into the hole the best I could but it's still clearly visible.”

“I find the quality of this sword far surpassing the purchase price. I chose regular polish and you can very clearly see the hada all through the length of the blade. The shape of the blade appears to be ground evenly through out. The koshirae is of good quality, the fitment of all pieces are tight. I am excited to see the ito is very snug under my grip. I would think it be quite a while before needing a rewrap. The saya finish is smooth and blemish free. The only issue I have is with fitment of the blade inside the saya. It has a little play and allows the sword to move around inside. The fitment between the habaki and saya is very snug which is fine. Over all I am impressed with the sword.”

“One of the coolest feelings in the world is to hold a katana made specifically for you. The process was easy, and pretty addicting! The final result was even better than expected, well-balanced and agile, with excellent fit and finish, and a keen blade that cuts like a dream!”
