“My sword is absolutely beautiful! It was made exactly to my specifications! The only thing I don't like is how tightly the saya fits making it difficult to draw the blade but I would rather have it too tight than too loose. Hopefully it will loosen over time after drawing the blade enough times. Aside from that everything is perfect! Thanks again Swordis!”

“My katana from honbon forge was overall very good for the money and the blade itself was truly beautiful and i really only have a couple gripes with it firstly that since the saya is most likely mass produced it doesnt fit the blade very well and the blade rattles around in the saya quite a bit and secondly this was my second katana from honbon forge and my first katana had what looks like genuine real rayskin and since there isnt an option for real rayskin i assumed that every sword came with real rayskin and since my current sword is more expensive i further assumed it would come with real rayskin wrapping but i dont know if its because i ordered a red rayskin or because i got it pannel wrapped instead of a full wrap but my sword arrived with what looks like a fake skin however for the price i cant complain too much and would overall buy from them again.”

“This katana is an awesome piece of craftsmanship. The blade is beautifully folded and the hamon stands out really well. All the fittings are tight and beautiful. The leather wrapped handle is so tight and feels like a million bucks in your hands. And it was razor sharp right out of the box. Best katana I own.”

“I must take this opportunity to tell you that I am so very happy with my purchase from Swordis . The whole process was so very easy to manipulate. It was actually fun picking out and designing my own katana. The process was very easy. The hard part was waiting for the completed sword, but I can tell you the weight was well worth it. It is truly a work of art I immediately put it on my display case everything was perfect. I was a bit worried about the colors that I had chosen, but even those proved to be perfect my Katana is truly a work of art and dealing with Swordis was a total experience that I am very happy to have enjoyed. I can truly say my next katana will be designed by me through Swordis . I am looking forward to our next project. Thank you so much. It has been truly enjoyable.EMN....”

“The forge quality is very good. The battle ready sharpness is spoton. The katana is wel balanced, the handle weave is supertight and I am very happy with the katana. Overall a very good quality product from Hanbon forge .”

“Successful version of a budget sword that allowed me to choose the parts I wanted to invest most in and parts that I could select less expensive options to create a functional and good looking practice katana. The ito is tight and the 1060 blade is sharp. The fittings are well applied and the iron tsuba looks great with the copper and blacked out grip. This sword is exactly what I was hoping for and is really great looking for an everyday cutter built for fun.”
