How's the Blade?
How are the Handle and Fittings?
I am very impressed with the overall quality of the sword. The ito is really tight, feels great, samegawa is decent quality, and the balance is actually quite good. Only thing I didn't love was the blades sharpness, it was sharp but not quite what I had hoped. Not worth taking a star fro. Though, great blade with great fittings, would recommend!

The sword looks very nice and is very durable I just wish they told me the gold color would make the sword dull instead of letting me pay for extra sharp

I bought from Swordis because I wanted to see if it was possible to get a cheaper viable stage combat katana. I do not think the sword I got will work for that. I do not think this, because the sword is a work of art. Everything from the colors to the material quality, to the blade geometry, to the way it all fits together. The prospect of damaging it in practice is actually deeply distressing. If I had a complaint, I'd note the sword is very blade-heavy. However, it's also a 32 inch blade instead of the standard size, and this issue almost disappears if you use the sword with both hands, as you're meant to. If I can bring myself to risk the sword in stage combat, I'll definitely be ordetrng another

Finally received my sword, and I gotta say it’s beautiful. Other than the longer than expected wait time, I paid for “extra sharp”, and I received a blade you could ride to China and not get cut. Was not too impressed with that. However, the materials are very nice, the blade is beautiful, and all the parts are tight. I also wish the red on the scabbard matched the red on the sword.

Ive been wanting a real katana for a pretty long time and after using this one and just testing it out a bit, id say it is a very well built katana for first timers.
