“I had an amazing trip at Alex's tent at Osa Trail. We were greeted by his black lab, Bear, when we first arrived and it was already a sign that the trip was off to a good start. He was extremely accommodating and helpful with us. The view out of the tent was amazing as well and the pictures do not do it justice. Hopefully you come here and rent the tent, Alex, his two dogs: Bear and Biscuit, and his cat Nightwalker are the best thing that have happened to the area. He respects your privacy and is on call when you need help. The only suggestion I could make is: don't drive all the way up to the campsite, park near his home because the roads could get a little rough on your car.

“This was my first time "camping" and it was an amazing first experience. Alex was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. He kept in contact with us before and during the stay which was very reassuring for my boyfriend and I. The location was quiet and serene. We explored the trail as well as the stream Alex mentioned. It was a small and very adorable stream with incredibly fresh and clean water. Would definitely recommend and hopefully make another trip back! Thanks Alex!”
“This was our first camping adventure with Tentrr. It was a great experience! Alex was super nice and helpful. The spot was amazing at the top of a mountain with a great vista. The blueberries were ripening and we pigged out on these every morning. It was a hot weekend but the shade cover was enough that we didn't feel too hot. At night the temp was perfect and cool enough for a fire. The bed was a foam mattress and very comfortable. It would definitely come back here again.”
“Wonderful location, my coworkers and I visited in early July and the campground was covered in blue berry bushes. The view was incredible, especially sunrise the next day. The watering hole was so easy to reach and just felt so private and peaceful. Alex was very good about letting us know exactly what the ground rules were and where we could find anything we needed. Overall great experience.”
“We had such a great time at the Osa Trail site. Alex was so helpful and provided us with everything we needed. The nights were chilly but the fire pit and the wood stove in the tent was more than enough to keep warm. We did a nearby hike during the day and also spent time driving around the nearby towns for a wine tasting, shopping, and restaurants. The views from the site are incredible on a clear day and would definitely be worth coming back to next year. This was a perfect weekend getaway from NYC.”
“Osa trail was a blast! We couldn't have asked for a better location and host. Alex was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed, even some puppy love. His dogs Bear and Biscuit were very friendly. It was very private with a beautiful view (especially for sun-rise) and featured a beautiful hand build stone sitting area / fire pit. While there we went on a hike to waterfalls about a half mile down the road and also went to Minnewaska (about 30min drive) to swim and hike. While you're there, definitely check Kelder's farm for Ice Cream and other healthy treats! Quite, serene, clean...it was a dream!”
