“We had such a great time on our trip to Osa Trail! The campsite is very secluded and has THE most incredible view! Having coffee in the morning and sitting on the Adirondack chairs looking out at the view was my favorite part of the weekend! Alex was very accommodating and we highly recommend getting fresh eggs for your breakfast, they were delicious! We will definitely be planning a trip back with a bigger group!”
“The campsite was right in a blueberry patch with a great view, both tents were roomy, and Alex's dogs came by every so often to say "Hi". It was quite a pleasant experience, with great hiking nearby.”
“I stayed at the Osa Trail Tentrr with my two sons (6 and 4) and we all loved it. First off, Alex was a fantastic host. He showed us the site and gave us some advice on the area and even helped carry firewood. The site is spectacular. Amazing view of the rolling hills and Berkshires beyond. Lots to explore near the site and we truly felt like the only ones around.”
“Campsite was secluded and beautiful. One snafu was that the extra tent was completely tangled up from the last users who stored it. Alex patiently helped us get it untangled and set up and quickly responded to any questions we had. We were first time campers so it was great to have all the conveniences to gain some confidence! There was ZERO poison ivy on the campsite which was a bonus for us because two of us are highly susceptible. We had terrible weather the second day so we explored Kingston and Rhinebeck nearby. Overall a great experience.”
“My son, our dog and I had a wonderful weekend at Osa Trail. It is a gorgeous hilltop location with an incredible view all the way east to the Berkshire mountains, and some shelter to the sides and behind the tent from trees. Alex is very nice and super helpful, and his dogs loved playing with my dog. The fresh eggs from his hens were delicious, cooked scrambled over the fire in the morning. The firepit is awesome, both to contain the fire and rocks to sit on near the fire, and there are tiki torches around the camp site which light things up nicely at night. The first day we did a nice short hike very close to the property that Alex had suggested. The trailhead was only a short walk away from the camp site. The next day we did a gorgeous hike in Minnewaska State Park Preserve (lots of other hikers there too though which was a little disappointing - wish I'd picked a hike that was more remote/secluded.) Our view of the stars, and the Milky Way was outstanding. Highly recommended!”
