Sue and George were amazing hosts and were very responsive to all of our questions. They also gave great recommendations on hikes, lakes, and state parks in the area. The campsite was beautiful and so peaceful. We’ll definitely be going back!

The perfect secluded woods getaway! Sue and George were impeccable hosts and the site is well built and maintained. Our young children Loved the hammock, bunk beds, and fire pit. We were provided with more than enough water and firewood for our visit. The hiking trails are private and extensive, and the hosts provide a laminated trail map. Best camping trip ever!

George and Sue are fantastic! They made us feel at home and the site is a dream. The only thing you see from the site is nature, and more nature. If you're looking for peace and quite, this is the place. Enjoy!

Great trip, experienced the wood burning stove in the tent in 30 degree weather, it was magical. The tent became a pleasant retreat from the cold. We would come in to warm up periodically. Not much to do in the surrounding area but it was a pleasant weekend to escape the hustle and bustle. Also make sure you bring a car that is Capable of going up a rocky muddy trail.

Just buy your own tent and find a place to set it up in the woods…same thing. Nice people but the experience is not worth the price.

Beautiful and clean campsite that overlooks the forest below. Plenty of walking trails and you have the ability to walk to Penn’s Peak without touching roads. The dirt road to the campsite may be difficult for a car or low clearance vehicle especially if wet.
