George and Sue were fantastic hosts! They were just lovely and so kind throughout our entire stay. They were very good in communicating with us before and during the trip, and gave good guidance and directions in getting to the property. They provided us with plenty of information about the site, what to be aware of (e.g. wildlife), and all the activities we could do (e.g. hiking, town visits, etc), so we felt at ease from the beginning of the trip. They recently added a tarp covering over the picnic table area, which ended up being of great use to us during our stay. George and Sue also provided us with free, clean, and potable water throughout the trip that definitely proved to be a lifesaver, as we used more water than we would have accounted for. The surrounding land was beautiful, and it was great to be able to stay on private property with no other people around. The only note of caution I would add is that the path up to the campsite is a little bumpy (rocks, dirt, etc), so come prepared with a vehicle that can handle that trek. Would absolutely come again!

George & Sue were great hosts. They were friendly, helpful & easy to get in touch with. My family’s stay at their place was fantastic, we had a great time. My 5 & 9 year old did not want to leave. The campsite was lovely. It was tucked away in the woods surrounded by trees. I would highly recommend.

First time campers. George and Sue were amazing, very pleasant and accommodating. Did not come across any wildlife which we were afraid off. No complaints. Will definitely recommend.

Thank you so much for being the best hosts! Mr. George and his wife, Mrs. Sue, were very kind and helpful during our stay at this beautiful private campsite. One morning we discovered our car battery died, and they went out of their way to help us. The camping experience was wonderful for us as we live in the city of Philadelphia, and wanted a peaceful getaway to enjoy nature. It is also located pretty close to Jim Thorpe which we enjoyed touring. Thank you again to our wonderful hosts!

Great hosts. Awesome peaceful place with hiking trails and great scenery. My only issue is, we didn’t stay long enough. Highly recommended!!!

This campsite exceeded our expectations and was so much more! It was a 100% relaxation on a private property, with so much to do on a property and around. Our car was parked right next to the tent and the camp lie out was super convenient. The property has quite extensive hiking trails, where you are just alone with the nature and we took advantage of it. Wild blueberries and Sue's blueberry pie and mushrooms! Sue and George were simply adorable hosts and were always there for us when we needed anything. My husband and I are both from Europe and love exploring and learning about the US, so we did a plant tour and we met Sue's horse Toby and learned so much from Sue - she is an encyclopedia. Despite of some rain, we enjoyed our stay very much and for sure will be back!

Sue and George were great hosts. They were easy to reach and very accommodating. Their land is beautiful. Right outside the tent is an awesome hiking trail and a quick 5 minute drive leads into Jim Thorpe, a quaint town with cute restaurants.
