“beautiful and peaceful location. we really enjoyed the hiking trails on the property. the plant id walk was also really interesting. overall we had a great weekend away here, and would totally come back again. one thing to know is that the drive up to the camping site is fairly steep, unpaved, and rocky -- our small car struggled but was able to make it. just something to be aware of.”
“This is the perfect Covid getaway: Secluded in peaceful woods, just you and the woodpeckers. The site has everything you need to cook and relax. Sitting on the deck, just watching the leaves fall is the antidote to stress. Hiking on the property was challenging for us--steep and rocky--but lovely and doable for moderate hikers. Definitely want to return in slightly warmer weather. Hosts George and Sue are terrific--welcoming, always there when you need them or have a question.”

The site was absolutely gorgeous and we were really able to enjoy the outdoors while still enjoying some comforts of the Tentrr site (bunk beds with air mattresses). We would definitely return!”

They provide you with maps for a few trails on their land That we very much enjoyed. There are a few other activities they offer that we would love to partake in next time we visit. We highly recommend Whippoorwill Woods, it was an amazing time!”
