“I am from NC and attended New Mexico Tech in Socorro (NM) in the early 1980s. I remember the first bushel of Hatch chilis I bought, roasted over an open fire, and peeled. My fingers tingled hot and cold for days. It was an initiation into a world I knew nothing about. I developed an affinity for hot chilis that was not part of my heritage. I moved back east after college and over the years made several heroic attempts to bring batch fresh Sandia chili peppers to SC. Hatch Chili Store makes the process painless and reliable. “When you live in Georgia the only way to get your New Mexico on is to order from these great people and get the peppers that you came to know, love and enjoy while you were living in New Mexico! they always arrive fresh and perfect with the two day shipping and the people that answer the phones when you call to check on your order are fantastic, extremely helpful! I will order fresh Sandias next year for sure!”

“About 30% of the chilis were rotten upon arrival, and this was the second attempt. The first attempt was so bad that the FedEx man complained that the scent of rot filled his truck. This company hasnt figured out how to ship out-of-state. I paid a lot extra for next day delivery.”
