“Original order was held by FedEx for 5 days after it arrived in my local area. When they finally decided to deliver it to my house, the shipment was spoiled and I couldn't salvage anything. Started corresponding with THCS folks, they were apologetic and immediately created a reorder. It took a couple of weeks because of the lag between the seedling crop and the seed crop, but the second order was delivered on time and in great shape (thanks UPS!). As long as you are using the 2nd day shipping, they will guarantee freshness of their product on delivery. I used my small chile roaster that I bought from them to roast the peppers and had them in the freezer by that evening. These folks are top-drawer and back up their product. I'll definitely buy from them again when I need a new stash of Hatch chiles.”

“The Sandia chile this year seems to be a fairly hot version which is how it should be. The flavor is great as usual. it is hard to beat this chile for making a Green Chile Sauce or adding it to other dishes for some flavor and heat. I liked that UPS actually came through with a timely overnight delivery. I don't always trust UPS but glad Hatch Chile chose them this time.”

“I love my Hat h Chile. Even though I am in Montana, I still receive my hatch chilies in great condition! I just wish I could receive my red chilies in Hot as medium is like mild to us Thank you!”

“I want to thank Hatch Chile for my order of X-Hot chiles they arrived in perfect timing as my son was here to get the delivery. They were fresh and ready to roast for that amazing scent on the burners for the neighborhood to smell. I will be cooking chiles till the next harvest season, it has become a cycle, and I don't see stopping this cycle until I stop cooking.”

“Ordered "hot" chilis this year instead of mild as we did last year. Although the chilis were smaller, and thinner skinned, the flavor was excellent.”

“I was a little disappointed with the shipping/packaging portion. I paid what I thought was a significant amount for shipping and the box didn't have any ice packs to keep the product cool resulting in a loss of about a pound of chile due to excessive heat. I know you offer faster delivery at a higher rate but at that amount I don't find value in the product anymore. The chile themselves are wonderful. I just have to figure out a less expensive way to get them here in better condition! Thanks.”
