“The chili arrived in a box that was badly damaged. I believe the damaged box caused at least 1/4 of the chili to be bruised which caused premature mold to occur. In addition this years Lumbre chili was not nearly as hot as last year's batch. I am a bit disappointed in my order this year. Hopefully my fresh red chili will be in better shape when it arrives. I believe stronger or thicker boxes should be used in the future. These ones were very flimsy.”

“As I have mentioned in previous emails. This years Lumbre is a big disappointment. It's just not hot and HOT is my family's preference. It has been for generations. Last year's batch was awesome. This year's batch does not compare to last year's Sandia in terms of hotness. As a matterof fact the Lumbre and Sandia I received pretty much have the same degree of hotness. Disappointed. Oh well... I guess”

“The chile was a very pale green as an immature plant might be and there was no heat at all. Totally unlike last years crop. Disappointing to say the least.”

“Excellent condition. The chilies were beautiful nice straight, very little odd shape ones. Of the 25 pounds in purchased I only had one that was broken in half. And we could tell by the smell that filled the room when I opened the box was like I was back home again.. thank you”

“I received my order of 10 lbs of Lumbre Big Jims on schedule, 2 days after shipped out. I am very pleased and ordered 10 lbs more. This is the third year I have ordered and received chiles from Hatch. I have recommended the products to my contacts on facebook. Hopefully they'll ordre. I am very happy with m order.”
