“The Chile came in great shape, very few were bad. The downside was Im pretty sure it was not lumbre strain as they were 10-12 inches but were fairly hot, so I didnt complain. Definately have my pre-order in for 2016. Can't find better flavor with spice any where else.”

“We left NM 26 years ago but I still have to get my NM chile fix from The Hatch Chile Store. We have never been disappointed with the quality of chile (X-Hot Lumbre-unbelievably good & hot) from them and would not order from anywhere or anybody else. “Ordered 25lbs of Lumbre and 25lbs of hot last year. Both stands are great, but the heat of the lumbre is more to my liking! I love the lumbre so much I ordered a 50lbs of it this year. That's a solo supply just for me, and whoever the lucky individuals are when I'm cooking a pot. I ordered another 17lbs of chili from another source, because they're suppose to be the hottest stand of Hatch in New Mexico. That wasn't the case last year. The Lumbre was noticeably spicier! So, if your looking some of the best/hottest chili in New Mexico, DON'T HESITATE TO PULL THE TRIGGER ON THESE DELICIOUS PEPPERS! They're not as meaty as other strands, but that's the sacrifice you make when ordering the fire. Love this chili! I highly recommend.”
