“The Lumbre peppers have a great taste but if you are looking for heat this is not the pepper for you! They are not x hot, or hot, maybe a medium heat at best, very disappointed! Going to order another box of Sandia peppers because they were hot last year”

Hi, Our X-Hot is a hair hotter than our regular hot. I'm sorry you thought it was mild. Please be sure to keep the veins in as that's where all the heat is. 99% of the time, people who say that our hot varieties don't have enough heat are de-veining the chile. Thanks, The Hatch Chile Store

“These chile's are the only good thing to come out of New Mexico. We have at least 15 lbs in our freezer from this years harvest. They will be gone by April. From salsa to hamburgers to green chile stew hatch chiles are the star. Rhe hotter the better. See you all next year.”

“This chile was very mild. Bought a batch from Diaz Farms (Deming) and it was very hot. Diaz Farms will now be my place to order chiles next season.”

“Have had occasion to order both the frozen and bulk x-hot green chile. Have been very well satisfied with the delivery and of course the most delicious chile I have tasted in a long time. Was born and raised in Santa Fe, now in California, and it brings back memories when Mamacita used to make it, the aroma, the taste. hmmmm gooood. Can't go wrong with Hatch.”
