“After visiting New Mexico in person and traveling around the whole state, my girlfriend and I feel in love with the cuisine, in particular the chiles. After a little search, came across the Hatch Chile Store and felt no hesitation pre-ordering 25 lbs of the fresh Big Jim/Chargers peppers. They arrived a few months later after harvest began and we were so excited. The one and only thing that could be considered negative was the extra day it took FedEx to deliver the package, despite paying for the 2 day delivery, it took them 3, in the middle of a heatwave. So we have a chunk of the peppers spoil in the box. BUT that was no fault of the Hatch Chile Store, and when I brought it up to them, they offered to refund the amount of peppers we lost monetarily or with more peppers, as well as the shipping costs and would pursue the matter with FedEx so we didn’t have to. Truly great business practice. We immediately began processing right away (please wear gloves when processing fresh peppers), and roasted them in all different ways (straight on grill, griddle pan on stove, in the oven, and even the air fryer), bagged them up after skinning and deseeding and popped the majority in the freezer. Definitely had to leave a bag out to throw into just about everything we made that week though. Thanks so much, we can’t wait to share the food we make for our friends and family with all these peppers now!”

“Received the chili's in the expected time frame. Fired them immediately (Oh, what a savory scent!), processed them and put them away. Not one bad fruit in the bunch.”
