“As usual, the flavor of the chiles is outstanding but I found it is probably necessary to pay extra for the upgraded shipping by air if you live where it gets hot in July...the usual shipping time. I had several chiles that were spoiled and had to be discarded and more than had soft spots that I had to cut out. This was not the fault of Hatch Chile Store; the weather was extremely hot in the Midwest and the time it took for the box to reach me gave the chiles time to begin to spoil. Lesson learned! I will order again and not make that mistake.”

“The Joe Parker Chili I pre-ordered arrived fresh - large and ready to roast on a BBQ grill. I have made Green Chili Stew by chopping some of the chili and delicious Chili Rellenos with the very large whole chili's. I love ordering the chili's pre- ordered and excited when I open the shipped box to a wonderful fragrance and the sight of the most excellent chili grown by The Chili Store in Hatch New Mexico.”

“Our first box got brutalized in the post and arrived crushed and half rotten. The Hatch representative was amazing. I just sent a message to let them know that the particular shipment method they used wasn’t super great with fresh foods. They said because my order came with a guarantee, they’d send a replacement box at no charge. The second shipment showed up in solid shape and the peppers were still good! Outstanding customer service. Will order again for next harvest!!”

“I received my shipment on July 16 and the shipping label was dated July 13. So when I received the order the bottom of the box was wet. I find it hard to believe in three days that these peppers went that bad. But several were to the point of complete mush. I saved what I could. This was my first and last time ordering peppers in the mail.”
