Hi Barbara, It doesn't look like you ever reached out to our customer service team about your issue. Early season chile can be on the smaller side but 1904 is usually around 8 inches long. “I am rating these a five because they looked really good and they were fresh when I got them. Unfortunately I tried to cook them in a smoker and ruined the whole batch. My fault not yours, I will be trying it again next year except I'll cook them on the barbecue grill instead of in a smoker.”

I pulled up your order and saw that you did order one of our 5lb boxes that came with free shipping. We guarantee all orders for 5lb boxes. About how many pounds of chile did you lose to spoilage?
