“I love these very New Mexico tamales. I grew up in NM and was used to a particular shape and filling. When I found Hatch tamales I was over joyed. They are expensive. But I am getting consistent quality every time. They are great tasting and I like having them in my freezer to grab for lunch or a dinner. They are becoming.a staple no longer a “company only” food. You will love these.”

“Tasty, with good flavor and texture. However, they were not in a husk wrapper they were in a paper wrap. This affected the cohesiveness when steamed...they didn't hold together the way they should.”

Hi Kerry, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Using corn husks as the wrapper versus a paper wrapper should not affect the outcome of the tamales. Corn husks are traditionally used as they were readily available. Sadly, the supply chain interruptions made it near impossible for us to source high-quality corn husks.
