Hello Andrewe, Thanks for the honest feedback. Our frozen dishes (tamales, rellenos, chimichangas, etc.) are made with medium-heat chile. This allows our products to be enjoyed by as many people as possible. We might recommend topping your tamales with some of our Hot or X-Hot sauces in jars. Hope this helps! The Hatch Chile Store

“I’d forgotten how good tamales could be, after living away from New Mexico for so many years and ending up in East Tennessee. One bite brought back memories of some of the best food I’ve had in my 70+ years - these were simply mouthwateringly delicious. We had them served on a bed of rice with a side of fried egg on a tortilla with melted cheese and picante salsa, and I don’t have words to describe how good they were. We will be ordering more of these soon, along with other products from the Hatch Chile store. Their prices are not cheap, but are worth every penny!”
