“When we want something a little special without breaking the bank, this bottle (which we always just call "The Whale" is nice. A little funky, a tiny (tiny!) bit earthy, and very drinkable.”
“I enjoyed this with Korean inspired tacos that were heavy on the Gochujang and I added Kimchi as a topping. This sake more than stood up to the challenge. The nose is rice forward, but back end is slightly sweet with some umami notes. This drunken whale was an excellent pairing for some strong flavors.”
